In 1957 Paul attended Williamsport Technical Institute then went on to the USAF as a crew chief. From 1959 till 1967 Paul worked as an AMT for American airlines . From 1967 till 1971he was Avionics sales and repair technician for L.B. Smith Aircraft. From 1971 till 1973 he was an avionics technician for American Flyers. From1973 till 1976 he was the maintenance manager for Harrisburg aviation. From 1976 till 1979 He was the avionics manager and director of maintenance for Keystone Aviation. In 1979 he began West Shore Aviation then sold it in 1986. From 1986 till 1988 the was the director of maintenance for Clark Aviation. In 1988 Paul started Aircraft and Avionics Sales. In 1994 he went to Harrisburg Jet Center as the parts manager to retire in 2000. Now he is back at it again.

Paul has an Airframe and Power plant license from the FAA.
